Judo means "the gentle way." Its founder taught two ideas: use your energy well, and grow together. Café The Dojo brings that same spirit to a place where families can play, work and recharge.
Café The Dojo is being built by Dr. Justin Rashad Chin, an Edmonton physician and the owner and coach of Kodokwai Judo Club, which trains on the main floor of the same building. Café The Dojo turns the upstairs floor into a place where the whole family has somewhere to be: kids on the mats, grown-ups with a coffee, a laptop or a yoga mat.
